Blade Servers are bundled with a number of blades, their management console device, network device eg. switchs etc.
If there any necessity to disconnect the blades from the network then our common approach is turned them down forcefully or gracefully. Whatever the approach we take, it consume some time and recovery after the incident takes another load to engaged persons.
However if we just turned off the Network switches then it spare us the time and activities regarding the blades. To operate any switch operations I follow the below mention steps.
- Direct to Switch Dashboard
- Go to Board Operations
- Select the Operation to proceed on
- Click on confirmation Pop-Up
- Check Status.
